<Indestructible> began over ten years ago on January 16, 2007, as <Mayhem>, a Horde PVP reroll guild on the the new Coilfang server that launched with TBC. As the guild's members approached level 60, however, the Battleground queues reached 20 minutes or more due to the high Horde population on the Retaliation Battlegroup. Consequently, on February 13, 2007, <Mayhem> rerolled Alliance on the Blood Furnace PVP server and renamed itself <Conceited>.
<Conceited> enjoyed instant BG queues on Blood Furnace and quickly made a name for itself as the top PVP guild on the server. The guild recorded server-first kills of Thrall and Cairne and its premades dominated the Battlegrounds, constantly rallying the Alliance to "Queue AV!"
In Summer 2007, the guild's focus transitioned from from PVP to PVE. The move proved successful, as <Conceited> recorded Alliance-first clears of Zul'Aman, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, and Mount Hyjal. <Conceited> was also the first Alliance guild in Black Temple and recorded all of the Alliance-first kills there through Mother Sharaz.
Unfortunately, the guild's raiding effort came to a halt before downing Illidari Council due to the departure of a few key raiders from burn out and the extremely low Alliance population.
In Fall 2008 shortly before the launch of Wrath of the Lich King, the core members of <Conceited> transferred or rerolled on Kel'Thuzad, creating <Indestructible>. The guild started slowly but steadily climbed the progression ladder through Ulduar, Trial of the Crusader and ICC. On November 15, 2010, the guild that started over from scratch when WotLK launched downed Heroic Lich King to earn The Light of Dawn and finished our 25-man progression ranked #4 on Kel’Thuzad, #266 in the US, and #857 in the World.
<Indestructible> had two particularly noteworthy accomplishments in WotLK. First, we were the first Alliance guild (second server) to earn the Glory of the Icecrown Raider (25 player) Achievement. Second, on May 17, 2010, we downed hard mode Putricide with the 15% buff, making us just the fourth guild on Kel'Thuzad to clear Heroic 11/12 ICC 25. Two months would pass before another guild would accomplish that feat on our server, and only did so with the 30% buff.
<Indestructible> truly earned its name in Cataclysm. The guild started strong by notching the server's first 25-man Nefarian kill in Black Wing Descent. Unfortunately, several officers and top raiders departed the guild over the following months. Although we were able to down Heroic Sinestra on 25-man (Alliance First and Server Second) before the launch of Firelands, <Indestructible> struggled to maintain a solid raiding roster for several months.
In November 2011, the guild appointed several new officers, began an intense recruitment drive, and increased accountability among our 25-man raiders. It took some time for these changes to take effect but ultimately paid off as <Indestructible> climbed to heights it had never seen before. In a dramatic push before the 5% Dragon Soul buff went live, bosses began falling over for our newly invigorated raid group. We finished Cataclysm #2 on the server, #70 in the US and #226 in the World after one-shotting Heroic Madness on February 28, 2012.
Despite raiding just three days a week, the guild chalked up five Top-100 US 25m Heroic kills in Dragon Soul, including #64 Blackhorn, #67 Spine, and #70 Madness. <Indestructible> also scored the server's first 25m Heroic Morchock kill.
